Welcome to the Dundee Baptist Church (DBC) website. This website will always be a work in progress, just like we are. In any event, this website is one way in which we are branching and reaching out.
Take a look around. As you do, you will see a little bit of what we do and who we are. Also here, you will learn about a group of people from all walks of life, who are very much like you, and who love the Lord.
As our logo (on this page), as well as the Bible indicates, people are the church. Sure, we meet in a building (the first one east of the Kroger Store on M-50 [click here for a map]), at certain times for various functions, but we also live where you live.
You probably also noticed an entrance, or a door, on our logo. Think of that entrance as an open invitation to you to visit, and, hopefully, to eventually become a part of this local body of believers.
DBC's primary role, and the role of any church, is to point others to Jesus and to what He did on on a cruel Roman cross as a substitute for sinners. On the basis of what Jesus did around two thousand years ago, God invites everyone to repent and receive the free gift of salvation. Salvation is the greatest gift imaginable. But, like God, we won't pressure you regarding it. We respect your right to research everything and make up your own mind. God wants you to be fully convinced as well. Look into it; you should understand what you are getting yourself into.
