OUTDOOR BEACH-STYLE VOLLEYBALL
Begins June 8, 2008; Continues until July 26, 2008 (excluding July 4th week)
DBC started a coed volleyball ministry last year (2007). This year we continue and are looking for other churches and individuals who may be interested in participating in this form of exercise. Non-church members are encouraged to participate as well.
Games will begin with a short time of devotion.
Times for game depends on how many teams participate. Teams are made up of 4-6 players from age 12 and up; one alternative is allowed.
Participating churches may sponsor more than one team. If a church does not have enough players to field a full team, individuals may register and teams will be assembled from that group of registrants.
The registration fee is $15/player, which goes toward uniforms and additional equipment, if necessary.
The court is outdoors, so participants may play barefooted if desired.
Registration may be done online or leave a message at 529-2717. If calling leave the sponsoring church's name, phone number at which you may be reached, address, phone number and names of the players.
Registration deadline is April 15 and the registration fee is due at the first scheduled game.
